Craig joined Mason Evans in 2026, bringing two decades of experience working within and leading multi-disciplinary environmental consultancies. Craig has worked on a wide range of projects from multi-billion-pound renewable and infrastructure projects, through to residential and commercial schemes.
Craig has lived and worked in the UK, North & South America, heading up regions, departments and leading the growth and development of new and established businesses alike.

Pamela Hamilton started her career with Mason Evans in 1996 as a Junior Secretary. Throughout her early years at Mason Evans, Pamela gained knowledge and experience in the administration department along with more advanced accounting and HR duties.
In 2005, Pamela was promoted to the role of Office Manager. During this time, she developed her working relationships with all staff and management, and in 2017 was promoted to Finance & Administration Manager. She now works closely with all Senior and Junior staff members equally and oversees all aspects of the company operations as General Manager.

Ian is originally from Ottawa in Canada and following graduation with a first-class degree in Physical Geography, he followed his roots and moved to Scotland in 1998 to pursue doctoral studies in sub-glacial hydrology at the University of Glasgow.
Ian joined Mason Evans in early 2010. His early career was spent with a number of large engineering firms, developing their contaminated land capabilities and building environmental teams that focused mainly on contaminated land risk assessment and groundwater issues associated with brownfield redevelopment, but has capability that spans waste and waste licencing as well as EIA project management among others.
Outside of work Ian is a classic (American) car enthusiast, and both Ian and his wife are active in coaching American Football.

A graduate of the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Geology, Alistair joined Mason Evans in 2025, having previously worked for a number of years in geo-environmental consultancy for Scottish and multi-national companies. Alistair is experienced in land quality assessment, due diligence, mineworking stability assessments and site remediation. He has also provided expertise and advice to solicitors on a number of projects relating to contaminated land.

Matt brings twenty years' experience of working in the environmental and ground investigation sector. With over a decade's experience as an environmental regulator in the landfill, waste management and onshore oil and gas sectors, he brings a wealth of knowledge from a broad range of sites and industries across the UK.
With an additional 8 years' experience in private sector consultancy, Matt also has extensive experience of designing, supervising and reporting on ground investigations and environmental risk assessment for planning (TCPA, Building Regs, EIA, DCO) and consenting regimes (EPR, WML, PPC, CAR, EASR). While Matt's specialism lies in complex ground gas and vapour intrusion risk assessment, he has a proven track record in developing bespoke solutions to address clients' individual environmental issues in an effective manner.
Matt as also a long-standing Fellow of the Geological Society and a Chartered Scientist, and has served on a range of committees in sector-specific and professional organisations and membership bodies.

Neal has been involved in the ground investigation industry for over 20 years, starting in a Geotech laboratory in 2007, and with over 15 years consultancy experience.
In 2023 Neal became a Registered Risk Assessor for Permanent Gases with the Society of Brownfield Risk Assessment (SoBRA) and became Chartered with the Chartered Institute of the Water and Environment Management (CIWEM) in March 2025.
Neal has extensive experience in land contamination, the water environment, and ground gases (including mines gas and vapours), and is able to support Clients from project initiation, scoping and oversight of the project, through to report writing and regulator engagement.

Kenny joined Mason Evans in May 2025, bringing several years of experience with leading geotechnical and environmental consultancies. He specialises in site investigations and the assessment of contaminated land, including involvement number of high-profile development, PPC and petrochemical projects.
Kenny graduated with an Honours degree in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Edinburgh (2016) and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from University of Strathclyde (2017). He is a Chartered Geologist (CGeol) and a registered risk assessor with SoBRA (RSoBRA).

Paula started her career with Mason Evans in 2001 as a Junior Cad Technician. Throughout her early years at Mason Evans, Paula gained knowledge and experience in the Cad department working on different project drawings from Site Investigation Drawings to cut & fill exercises. Whilst working along side the engineers, she also gained knowledge regarding verification.
Paula was promoted to the role of Engineering Technician Manager. During this time, she developed her team covering the cad department, gas technicians and the verification team. She now works closely with the site teams to ensure a smooth process when it comes to verification.
Away from work Paula enjoys family time as well as football and a few cocktails with friends.

Henry is a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer with experience across both the UK and Australia. Since beginning his career in 2019, he has worked on a diverse range of projects, from local developments in Manchester to large-scale international schemes. He specialises in ground investigation, contaminated land assessment, and geotechnical risk management.
Passionate about combining environmental responsibility with practical engineering solutions, Henry helps clients deliver successful outcomes across the commercial, residential, and energy sectors. With a strong technical background and extensive hands-on experience, he brings a proactive and collaborative approach to every project.

Monique initially joined us in 2014 after graduating from the University of Glasgow with an Honours degree in Earth Science. Since then, she moved on to work in both geo-environmental consultancy and site investigation contracting before rejoining us. Monique brings with her an extensive knowledge of the investigation and remediation of Greenfield and Brownfield sites for a wide variety of end uses.

Having held senior estimating and engineering roles at a number of leading contractors, David brings a strong track record in bid management, risk assessment and delivering competitive, technically sound solutions. His background spans both site-based and commercial roles, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the full project lifecycle from early feasibility through to tender submission.
